Silachai Pungboon: A Rising Star in Weightlifting

Silachai Pungboon, a Thai weightlifter, made his mark in the sport at a young age. Competing in the 50 kg weight category at the Khun Dan Games in Nakhon Nayok, he impressed with a gold medal performance. His exceptional lifts of 90 kg in the snatch and 115 kg in the clean and jerk earned him a total weight of 205 kg.

In 2022, Silachai stepped onto the global stage at the World Weightlifting Championships in Bogotá. Competing in the 55 kg weight category, he showcased his remarkable strength.
