Professor Thomas H. Cormen

Thomas H. Cormen is an American computer scientist and professor at Dartmouth College. He serves as director of the college's Writing Program.

Early Life and Education

Cormen earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Princeton University in 1978. He then pursued graduate studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he received his Master of Science degree in 1986 and his Doctor of Philosophy degree in 1992.

Dartmouth Career

Cormen joined the faculty of Dartmouth College after completing his doctorate. He has made significant contributions to the field of computer science, with a focus on algorithms.
