From Athletics to Bobsleigh

Margis's sporting career began in track and field, but he transitioned to bobsleigh in 2011. His athleticism and speed proved to be valuable assets in this new discipline.

Junior World Champion

In the 2012/2013 season, Margis teamed up with Francesco Friedrich to win the junior world championship in the four-man bobsleigh. This early success hinted at his potential in the sport.

Margis made his Olympic debut at the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, where he placed 10th in the four-man bobsleigh with Friedrich. However, his greatest achievements came at the world championships.
