Early Career
Armenian footballer Mher Yesayan began his professional career in 1990 with Zoraavan in the Soviet Second Lower League. When Armenia gained independence, he played in the newly formed Armenian Premier League with Zoraavan before joining Zvartnots in Echmiadzin.
Success with Dinamo Yerevan
In 1994, Yesayan moved to Dinamo Yerevan in the First League. He became the team's leading goalscorer, scoring 30 goals, the highest tally in the league that season.
Championship with Yerevan
From 1995, Yesayan played for Yerevan, winning the Armenian Premier League title in 1997 and reaching the Armenian Cup final in 1998.
Coaching Career
After retiring as a player, Yesayan transitioned into coaching, primarily working with youth and U-19 teams. In 2010, he became the head coach of Araks Ararat, leading them to victory in the First League and promotion to the Premier League.
Departure from Araks Ararat
Despite signing a new one-year contract, Yesayan resigned as head coach of Araks Ararat in 2011 due to dissatisfaction with the club's approach to preparing for the new season and lack of significant player acquisitions.
Various Coaching Appointments
Yesayan briefly took over as head coach of Banants-2 before leaving at the end of the season. In 2012, he returned to Araks Ararat as head coach of their reserve team, Araks-2.
