French Chess Grandmaster

Born in Armenia, French chess grandmaster Sébastien Feller made a name for himself on the international chess scene. In 1997, he began representing Armenia at various World Youth Chess Championships, notably finishing 7th in the U-16 category in 2000. He also competed in two Junior Chess Olympiads for his country.

Switching Allegiance to France

In 2004, Feller switched his allegiance to France, continuing his impressive tournament successes. He emerged victorious from events in Cappelle-la-Grande (2003), La Fère (2004), Avouane (2005), Gonfreville l'Orcher (2006), and Charleroi (2006, 2007). His winning streak continued with triumphs in Nice and Fourmies (both 2007), Belvedere Marittimo (2008), and Cannes (2010).

Grandmaster Title (2009)
