Origins and Formation (2000-2005)

The Ukrainian ska/rock band "TIK" emerged from modest beginnings in the city of Vinnytsia, Ukraine. The band's roots can be traced back to 2000 when Viktor Bronyuk (a history student at Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University) and Denis Repej (a student at the Musical-Pedagogical College) envisioned a musical project. By 2003, they were joined by guitarist Konstantin Terepa and Alexander Filinkov, solidifying the early lineup.

Breakthrough and Debut Album (2005-2007)

Their career took a pivotal turn in 2005 when producer Oleg Zbarashchuk arranged their first concert. On June 2, 2005, "TIK" made its official debut in Vinnytsia during the "Talita Kum" tour, marking the band's foundation date.

Their first demo recording caught the attention of renowned sound engineer Vitaliy Telezin, who later collaborated with "TIK" in his "211" studio. This collaboration would shape the band's sound and trajectory.

Roster Changes and Acclaim (2006-2008)

In 2006, "TIK" underwent significant lineup changes with the departures of Denis Repej (bass guitar), Yuriy Martsyniuk (saxophone/keyboards), and Konstantin Terepa. New members Sergey Fedchishin (bass guitar) and Yevgeniy Zykov (keyboards) joined Viktor Bronyuk and Alexander Filinkov, along with trumpeter Yan Nikitchuk. The revamped lineup debuted in May 2006.

The collaboration between "TIK" and "Lyapis Trubetskoy" on the song "Oleni" garnered national recognition and was featured in a music video released in November 2006. The band's subsequent video for "Vchytelka" solidified their place in the Ukrainian music scene.

In 2007, "TIK" released their debut album, "Lyteradura," featuring 11 tracks and 2 bonus videos. The album launched the band into the mainstream, earning them a loyal fan base.

Expansion and Domestic Success (2008-2011)

The release of the single and video for "Proshayte Devchata" in February 2008 marked a new era for "TIK." They embarked on a nationwide tour and received the "Breakthrough of the Year" award at the Perva Muzykalna Dzhem FM-Premia "NePopsa."

Their sophomore album, "tyKHYY," was released in September 2008 and featured hit singles such as "Bili Rozy" and "Sosura." The album propelled "TIK" to even greater heights, solidifying their status as one of Ukraine's most popular bands.

In 2010, the band's song "Oleni" became the soundtrack for the romantic comedy "Love in the Big City 2," further expanding their reach.

Continued Evolution and Collaborations (2011-2013)

"TIK" continued to evolve with the release of their third album, "Svaddebnyy," in 2011. The album featured collaborations with Irina Bilyk on the single "Ne Tseluy" and marked the beginning of a successful partnership.

In subsequent years, the band engaged in various projects, including the release of music videos, live performances, and collaborations with other artists. Notably, Viktor Bronyuk contributed to the tribute album for the vocal formation "Pikkardiyska Tertsiya" in 2012.

Further Success and Recognition (2013-Present)

"TIK" collaborated once more with Irina Bilyk on the hit single "Zyma" in 2013. The duo embarked on a nationwide tour titled "Luchshiye Ukrainskiye Hity" and achieved a remarkable feat by holding 24 concerts in 30 days, earning them a place in the "Ukrainian Book of Records."

The band continued to tour extensively, reaching out to even the smallest cities in Ukraine through their "Big Tour of Small Towns" in 2013.

In 2015, Viktor Bronyuk became actively involved in social projects, particularly support for Ukrainians affected by the conflict in the region.

Throughout their illustrious career, "TIK" has proven to be a resilient and innovative force in Ukrainian music. Their enduring popularity and ability to connect with audiences of all ages have made them one of the most respected and beloved bands in the country.
