Biography of Samuel Timothy McGraw

Samuel Timothy McGraw was born in Delhi, Los Angeles, on May 1, 1967. He grew up in a small town called Start, Louisiana, near Monroe, and as he got older, he listened to a variety of music genres, including country, pop, rock, and R&B. He studied sports medicine at Northeast Louisiana University, and it was during this time that he started playing guitar and singing. Soon, Tim moved to the country music capital of Nashville.

In Nashville, Tim performed in clubs and eventually signed a contract with the label "Curb" in 1992, which still releases his records. His debut hit was called "Welcome To The Club," and the following year, in 1993, his first album, "Tim McGraw," was released. Although his debut album didn't make a big impact, his second album, "Not A Moment Too Soon" (1994), became a bestseller, thanks to country classics like "Down on the Farm" and "Refried Dreams." His status as a new country idol was solidified with his next album, "I Like It I Love It."

However, Tim's biggest hit came from his 1997 album, "Everywhere," which featured a duet with his wife, Faith Hill, called "It's Your Love." This album gave him numerous successful singles, including "Where the Green Grass Grows," "Just to See You Smile," "One of These Days," "For a Little While," and another duet with Faith Hill, "Just to Hear You Say That You Love Me."
