Early Life and Career
Dennis Endras was born in Mangheim, Germany, and began his hockey career in the Mangheim youth system. He played for Mannheimer's junior team in the German youth championship. In 2006, he was included in the squad of the Cologne Haie team but did not make his debut in the top division.
North American Adventure
From 2007 to 2009, Endras played in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) for the Saint John Fog Devils and Shawinigan Cataractes. He then spent the 2009-10 season with the Bakersfield Condors in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).
NHL Moment
In 2010, Endras joined the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played for their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch, and the ECHL's Elmira Jackals. Endras made his NHL debut for the Ducks in the 2010-11 season, playing 40 minutes and allowing five goals.
Return to Germany
After his brief NHL stint, Endras returned to Germany in 2012, spending time with the Landshut Cannibals in the second division. In 2013, he signed with the top-flight Ingolstadt team. In 2014, he helped the team secure the German championship title.
International Career
Endras represented Germany at the junior and youth levels. In 2015, he made his debut with the senior German national team at the World Ice Hockey Championships. He has since become a regular member of the team.
