Tom Rogic: A Serbian-Born Australian Football Star
Early Career at Central Coast MarinersOn January 2, 2012, Tom Rogic joined A-League club Central Coast Mariners. He made his debut for the team on January 21, 2012, in a 3-2 win over Adelaide United. Rogic scored his first goal for the club against Melbourne Victory in a 1-2 loss and was later awarded the "February Young Player of the Month" award.
Transfer to Celtic
On January 17, 2013, Rogic signed a 4.5-year contract with Scottish club Celtic for a reported transfer fee of £400,000. He made his debut for Celtic on February 9, 2013, in a Scottish Premiership match against Inverness Caledonian Thistle, providing an assist for Kris Commons in a 3-1 victory.
International Career
Rogic made his international debut for Australia on November 14, 2012, coming off the bench in a match against South Korea.
