Childhood and Early Career
Tommaso Vailatti, an Italian footballer of Sinti descent, first stepped onto the football field at the tender age of six, joining the youth academy of Turin-based club Torino.
Torino Debut and Club Loyalty
Vaillati's journey through the ranks culminated in his debut for Torino's senior team on November 28, 2004, in a Serie B match against Modena. Despite the team's defeat, Vailatti remained steadfast in his loyalty, even after the club's bankruptcy in August 2005. His dedication earned him the accolade of Best Young Player in Italy by Cercasi Calciatore Disperatamente.
Loan Spells and Return
In August 2006, Vailatti embarked on a loan spell at Vicenza, where he made 20 appearances. Upon his return, he was initially favored by new coach Walter Novellino, but an unfortunate injury in winter led to him losing his starting spot. Vailatti spent the remainder of the season on loan at Livorno.
Turin Return
By 2008, Vailatti was once again a Torino player, eager to prove himself and cement his legacy with the club he had always called home.
