Tommy Ford, born in 1989 in Bend, Oregon, is an American alpine skier. From a young age, he was introduced to skiing by his parents who were avid skiers themselves. Tommy's older brother was also involved in the sport, so skiing became a prominent part of his life.

Early Success

Tommy first gained attention in 2006 when he won four gold medals in slalom, giant slalom, combined downhill, and super-G at the national youth championships. This marked the beginning of his journey as a competitive skier.

International Recognition

Tommy's international career took off in the 2008-2009 season when he made a name for himself at the youth championship in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, showcasing his skills in slalom. He followed this up with a silver medal in giant slalom at the Pan American Championship. At the World Championships in Alta Badia, Ford finished 24th.
