Biography of Tomoki Kameda

Introduction
The phrase 'Japanese boxer training and performing in Mexico' sounds more like the beginning of a strange joke than a real introduction to someone's biography. However, Tomoki Kameda deserves more than just a casual mention - he is renowned not only for his impressive fighting record but also as one of the three legendary Kameda brothers. This trio of Japanese boxers has already matched the record set by the Klitschko brothers and may surpass it in the near future.

Professional Career
In Japan, Tomoki had an impressive fighting record - 35 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss. After moving to Mexico, he participated in the Guantes de Oro de México. Unfortunately, he did not qualify for the Beijing Olympics due to age restrictions. Rather than waiting for the next Olympics, Tomoki decided to turn professional.

Japanese Boxers in Mexico
Tomoki is not the only professional Japanese boxer who competes for Mexico. Several other fighters from the Land of the Rising Sun, such as Shoky Sakai and Masamichi Nozaki, also train in Mexico.

Notable Victories
Tomoki made his professional debut at the age of 17, winning his first fight against Alejandro Moreno. He also achieved a remarkable victory over the esteemed Mexican boxer Jesus Periban, knocking him out in the third round. Another significant win came against Arturo Camargo, earning Tomoki the title of WBC Intercontinental champion in the super flyweight division.

Current Status
Among the three Kameda brothers, Tomoki and Koki currently hold championship titles. However, Daiki, the third brother, lost his last championship title but has the chance to regain it in September.
