Early Life and Childhood
Torrey DeVitto was born on June 8, 1984, in Huntington, Long Island, New York.Her mother, Mary, is Italian, and her father, Liberty DeVitto, is a renowned American musician who served as the drummer for the legendary singer-songwriter Billy Joel. Torrey is the second of four daughters in the family.
Due to her father's touring schedule, the family relocated frequently during Torrey's early years, eventually settling down in Winter Park, Florida. From a young age, she was surrounded by music and the performing arts.
Education and Career Trajectory
Torrey began playing the violin at age six.She excelled in music and performed in three symphony orchestras in high school. Additionally, she studied dance at Kings Park and participated in school plays. However, it was not until she turned 15 that acting truly captivated her.
At age 15, Torrey ventured into modeling.Her slender physique and striking features landed her various print and commercial campaigns. After graduating from Winter Park High School, she worked as a model for agencies such as Avenue One in Japan and Ford Models.

Torrey's acting debut came in 2003 when she appeared in an episode of "Dawson's Creek."The same year, she made a brief appearance in the popular sitcom "Scrubs." In 2006, she landed her first major film role in the slasher movie "I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer."
