Marcos Curiel is a Christian rock guitarist best known for his role as the bassist for the San Diego, California-based nu metal band P.O.D.

Curiel has been an integral member of P.O.D. since its inception, contributing to all of the band's albums from their debut, Snuff the Punk (1994), to their most recent release, When Angels & Serpents Dance (2008). His unique bass playing style has been a defining characteristic of P.O.D.'s music.
Songwriting Contributions
Beyond his bass guitar duties, Curiel has also made significant songwriting contributions to P.O.D.'s catalog. He is credited as the author of the lyrics for the song "Sleeping Awake," a standout track from the band's 2003 album, Payable on Death.
