Biography of Trista Rene Sutter

Trista Nicole Sutter was born on October 28, 1972, in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. She grew up in St. Louis after her family relocated there when she was four years old. Despite being an only child, Trista formed close relationships with neighboring families, which continue to this day.

Trista attended Indiana University, where she earned a degree in Physical Education. In 1995, she was accepted into the University of Miami, where she graduated with honors. Her passion for dancing led her to audition for the Miami Heat NBA dance team, which she successfully joined. Trista spent two seasons with the team, while also working full-time as a physical therapist at a children's hospital in Miami.

After several attempts to have a child, Trista and Ryan welcomed their firstborn, Maxwell Alston Sutter, on June 26, 2007. Trista also worked in commercials for the fast-food chain KFC alongside actor Jason Alexander. In 2003, she appeared in country singer Brad Paisley's music video for the song "Celebrity" alongside Alexander, "Little" Jimmy Dickens, and William Shatner.

On December 6, 2006, Trista married Ryan Sutter, and they currently reside in Eagle County, Colorado, where Ryan works as a Colorado firefighter. In February 2007, the couple announced to People magazine that they were expecting another child, but they chose to keep the gender a surprise.

Their son, Maxwell Alston, was born via cesarean section four weeks premature due to complications during Trista's pregnancy. Trista was diagnosed with gestational diabetes during her seventh month. Maxwell was born at 8:50 pm at the Vail Valley Medical Center in Vail, Colorado. His photo graced the cover of Us Weekly magazine, and his first photoshoot was featured in Trista's video diary on the website MomLogic.com.
