Professional Hockey Career
Draft and Early YearsAs a skilled American hockey player, the athlete entered the 1998 NHL Draft and was selected in the 7th round, 183rd overall, by the Chicago Blackhawks. This selection marked the beginning of a promising career in the National Hockey League.
Trade to Ottawa and Colorado
On March 9, 2006, a significant change occurred in the player's NHL journey as he was traded to the Ottawa Senators. This move provided an opportunity for him to showcase his talents in a new environment. However, his stay in Ottawa was short-lived, as he became an unrestricted free agent on July 1, 2006.
The following day, the Colorado Avalanche recognized the player's potential and signed him to a contract. He spent several seasons with the Avalanche, contributing to the team's success.
KHL Experience
