Early Life and EducationYuri Tkach, a renowned Ukrainian comedian and actor, was born in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine. His unconventional education took place on the streets, where he honed his comedic skills alongside friends. Together, they formed the "National Team of Dnipropetrovsk" for the KVN (Club of the Merry and Resourceful) comedy competition. With Igor Lastochkin as their captain, the team achieved notable success, becoming bronze medalists in the Ukrainian Premier League in 2009 and silver medalists in the KVN Premier League in 2013.
Breakthrough with "Kvartal-95"
In 2013, Yuri Tkach's career took a significant turn when he was invited to join the renowned comedy troupe, "Studio Kvartal-95." His role as Yura, the husband of Yaryna (Irina Soponaru), in the sitcom "Country U" catapulted him to stardom. In 2014, the spin-off series "Once Upon a Time in Poltava" was launched, featuring Yurik and Yaryna as the central characters. He also starred in "Fairy Tales U" as Ivan Tsarevich.
Television and Dance
Yuri Tkach's versatility extends to television and dance. In 2017, he participated in the fourth season of "Dancing with the Stars Ukraine," where he performed alongside Iryna Hevozdevo for 7 episodes. The following year, he became a judge on the fourth season of the comedy competition "League of Laughter." In 2019, he joined the jury of "Make Me Laugh, Kids" and became a cast member of "Evening Quarter," succeeding Volodymyr Zelensky, who ran for President of Ukraine.
