Vadim began his theatrical journey in the Chelyabinsk Academic Drama Theater named after Tsvilling, performing from 1983 to 1984. He then joined the Fyodor Volkov Drama Theater in Yaroslavl, where he stayed for 16 years. During his tenure at the Volkov Theater, he portrayed over 40 diverse characters, including iconic roles such as Hamlet, Pyotr Platonov, and the Jester in "King Lear."
Directing Accomplishments
In addition to his acclaimed acting career, Vadim showcased his directing prowess by staging several memorable plays, including "I'll Be Back...," "The Temple," and "Fates Scorched by War."
Cinematic Debut and Journalistic Pursuits
Vadim made his cinematic debut in 1992 with the pivotal role of young Lenin in Sergei Kolosov's "Schism." From 1991 to 2000, he delved into journalism, penning articles on film history, theater reviews, and publicistic pieces for Yaroslavl publications.
