Early Life and Career

Uzbek and Russian footballer Eldor Shomurodov began his football career as a trainee at the Uzbek football school "Andijan."

Debut with Rubin Kazan

Shomurodov made his debut for Rubin Kazan in 2007 in the round of 16 of the Russian Cup. The following year, he made his debut in the Russian Premier League against CSKA Moscow. In 2010, he won the Commonwealth of Independent States Cup with Rubin.

Loan to Neftekhimik and Return to Rubin

In 2012, Shomurodov went on loan to Neftekhimik, where he scored 2 goals in 19 appearances. He returned to Rubin in 2013 and was declared a free agent in 2016.

Transfer to Tosno and Tambov

Shomurodov joined Tosno in 2016 and played a key role in their 2017/18 Russian Cup victory. After the club's dissolution in 2018, he moved to Tambov.

International Career

Shomurodov represented Uzbekistan at the 2011 AFC Asian Cup, where they finished in fourth place.
