Biography of Valentina Semerenko
Valentina Semerenko is a Ukrainian biathlete, a master of sports, and a member of the Ukrainian national team. She was born in Krasnopole, Ukraine.
Early Life and Career
Valentina Semerenko was born in Krasnopole, a small town in Ukraine. She is the younger sister of Vita Semerenko, who is 15 minutes older than her. Valentina also has an older sister named Oksana, who is four years older. In their town, there were only two developed sports sections - skiing and football. Valentina and Vita both joined the skiing section in fourth grade. Their parents were not against it, although their mother was worried about their health.
