Biography
Early Life and EducationOlha Boguslavska was born in Ukraine and graduated from the Odessa Technological Institute in 1962.
Career
Following her graduation, Boguslavska worked in design organizations in Kyiv and Kharkiv. In 1966, she published her first collection of poems in Russian, "A Drop in the Ocean."
Ukrainian Poetry
Starting in 1998, Boguslavska began publishing poetry in Ukrainian. To date, she has released six books of Ukrainian verse.

Jewish Poetry Anthology
In 2007, Boguslavska collaborated with Velvl Chernin to compile the "Anthology of Jewish Poetry" in Ukrainian. This collection was published under the patronage of the Institute of Judaic Studies at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
Advocacy for Ukrainian Language
Boguslavska believes that the Ukrainian language can convey any literary work. She has stated, "If it can translate Byron and Tsvetaeva, this language is capable of expressing everything."
Other Works
In addition to her poetry and translations, Boguslavska has also translated Ukrainian poetry into Russian, including a collection by Yevhen Malaniuk in 2002.
