Valeriy Boychenko
Early Career
Valeriy, a Ukrainian footballer and midfielder, was born in Mykolaiv, where he first discovered his passion for football. At just 16 years old, he inked his first professional contract with MFC Mykolaiv, a team competing in the first league. His initial appearances were primarily as a substitute, but he eventually became a vital player in his final year with the squad.
Joining Kharkiv
In the summer of 2008,MFC Mykolaiv disbanded due to financial difficulties, granting all players free agent status. Valeriy's agent informed him of an opportunity to join Kharkiv. Despite an earlier setback related to passport issues, he successfully attended pre-season training with the team and secured a contract.
Premier League Debut
Valeriy made his Premier League debut on November 1st, 2008, in the match between Illichivets and Kharkiv. Entering the field as a substitute in the 90th minute, he replaced Ruslan Platon.
