Biography of Valeriy Kurinsky
Valeriy Kurinsky is a Ukrainian philologist, philosopher, poet, composer, translator, and the author of a methodology for studying foreign languages. He is also the creator of a self-education and personal development system. Valeriy Kurinsky was born in Kiev, Ukraine, where he currently resides.

Early Life and Education
During World War II, Kurinsky and his family were interned in a concentration camp near Vienna. After the war, in 1945, his parents and older brother were arrested and imprisoned in the USSR. Despite these upheavals, Kurinsky completed his schooling as an external student.
He obtained a higher musical education at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine in Kiev, graduating in 1969. As a poet-songwriter, he collaborated with composer Igor Shamо, writing lyrics for songs such as "Birch," "Farewell, Mother," "Two Stars Fell," and "Dnieper Waltz." The song "Birch" was performed by the People's Artist of Russia, Tamara Miansarova, and the song "Farewell, Mother" was first performed in the mid-1970s by the People's Artist of the USSR, Dmitry Gnatyuk.
Contributions to Philosophy and Education
Kurinsky also conducted research in sociology, the philosophy of life, and education. At the intersection of these fields, he developed a new psychological direction called "Postpsychology." His self-education and self-development system, known as "Postpsychological Autodidactics," led him to master several dozen foreign languages.
Valeriy Kurinsky is currently the president of the International Academy of Autodidactics and a member of eight academies of sciences in various countries. He has authored hundreds of courses on philosophy and self-education. He has written several books and articles, presenting his original system of self-education and language learning.
Artistic and Musical Endeavors
In addition to his educational pursuits, Kurinsky is a talented musician who plays the piano and violin. He has given concerts and composed over 200 symphonies and numerous miniatures for symphony orchestras. His performances are often improvised. He is also a prolific poet, having written over 5,000 sonnets in Russian, Ukrainian, and English.
In recent years, Kurinsky has focused on creating musical compositions and public performances, as well as painting. His lectures and books offer a new way of survival and free philosophical thinking in modern society, based on his own philosophy. Kurinsky's school of thought, known as "Postpsychology," has gained followers, and his methodologies are currently being implemented in Moscow, Kiev, Krasnodar, and Alma-Ata.
