Early Life and Football Beginnings
Reinhold Adikhametov, a prominent Soviet footballer, was born in Moscow, the heart of the Soviet Union. From his early years, he honed his football skills on the streets of his neighborhood, Krasnye Vorota. A chance encounter with renowned Dynamo Moscow player Leonid Solovyov proved pivotal in his career. At Solovyov's invitation, young Reinhold joined the Dynamo sports school, where Vladimir Иванович Хайдин became his first coach.
Journey to Spartak
While playing for the Moscow team at the Spartakiade учащихся, a youth tournament, the talented 15-year-old Reinhold caught the attention of Spartak's coach. Despite initial resistance from Dynamo, he eventually made the switch to the legendary club.
Triumph and Glory with Spartak
Reinhold's five years at Spartak were marked by success. He solidified his place in the starting lineup and contributed to the team's triumphs, including three championship medals of varying denominations and two Soviet Cups. In eight seasons, he amassed 176 appearances in the top Soviet league, scoring 32 goals.
Later Career and Retirement
After leaving Spartak in 1967, Reinhold spent two seasons with Voronezh's Trud in the second group of the Soviet league. He concluded his career with five seasons at Shinnik Yaroslavl, winning the second group championship in 1970. Following four years as a regular for Shinnik in the first league, he retired in 1974.
Post-Playing Career
After hanging up his boots, Reinhold served as the director of the Lokomotiv Stadium in Moscow from 1987 to 1998. He remains a vocal figure in Soviet football, expressing strong views on the current state of Spartak Moscow in 2009.
