Vangelis Moras is a Greek footballer who plays as a center-back for the Italian team "Hellas Verona" and the Greek national team. He began his professional career in 1999 and has since played in several major European leagues. Some of the clubs he has played for include "AEK Athens", "Bologna", "Swansea City", "Cesena", and "Hellas Verona".

Early Career and Rise to Prominence
Born on August 26, 1981 in Larissa, Greece, Moras started playing football in his youth and played for amateur teams in high school. In 1999, he joined the local club "Larissa" and after two seasons, he moved to "Proodeftiki", where he established himself as a reliable defender who could read the game well and contribute to the team's attacks.

Major Clubs and International Career
In 2003, Moras was noticed by scouts from one of Greece's most famous clubs, "AEK Athens". He played for the team for three seasons but often faced criticism from football experts and journalists who believed that his level of play was below par. In 2007, he left the team and signed a contract with the Italian club "Bologna". It was in Italy that Moras found his form and spent four seasons as a regular starter for "Bologna". However, by the end of his contract, the management decided to sell him. Rumors circulated that "Panathinaikos" was interested in signing him to strengthen their defense, but negotiations eventually stalled.

In October 2011, Moras signed a three-month contract with the English club "Swansea City" as a free agent. In 2012, he joined the Italian club "Cesena", which many considered a revival of his career.
