Notable Works

Bonta is best known as the author of the "quantum" novel "Flight: A Quantum Fiction Novel" - a sci-fi work about the adventures of a memory-loss girl in parallel universes. It is considered that this novel marked the beginning of "quantum fiction," although it is still a relatively undeveloped genre. Apart from "Flight," Bonta has made contributions to science fiction by writing a script for an episode of "Star Trek: The Next Generation," although the script was ultimately not used. Additionally, she has appeared in films and her most famous role was in "The Beastmaster."

Poetry Career

Bonta has achieved greater success as a poet than as a writer or actress. Several of her poetic works have received various awards and accolades.

Biological and Technical Interests

Vanna Bonta was born into a family of a Florentine-American artist and an American military personnel. It is also known that Bonta is the granddaughter of Italian writer Luigi Ugolini. On December 2, 2008, Bonta appeared in an episode of "The Universe," dedicated to the topic of sex in space. In the show, she presented her own invention called the "2suit," a special suit for engaging in sexual activities in low gravity conditions. According to Bonta, this suit could be invaluable for colonizing other planets. Interestingly, the suit has already been tested in real weightlessness. Bonta is actively interested in space exploration and has developed various technical devices to facilitate it. The "2suit" is not her only invention. In 2008, she proposed a concept of "smart clothing" that included features such as self-contained air and water supply, internally illuminated handbags, Bluetooth earrings, fabric with automatic temperature regulation, shoes with retractable heels, and special velvet inserts with sensor fibers, among other sci-fi adaptations.
