Biography of Varda - Ukrainian Singer and Pole-Dance World Champion

Varda, whose real name is Vardanush, was born on March 3, 1985, in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine. She grew up in a multilingual, large family, being the sixth child. Her father, an Armenian engineer, and her mother, a seamstress, raised her and her siblings. The name Vardanush, translating from Armenian, means "Passionate Rose".

Early Life and School Years

During her school years, Varda excelled academically and actively participated in various school activities. She was a member of the ensemble "Serebryany Kolokolchik" (Silver Bell), where she showcased her singing talent. Additionally, Varda was involved in the theater studio "Arlekin" and passionately engaged in theatrical performances.

The First Major Success

Varda's first significant achievement came in 2004 when she won the "Ukrainian Striptease Championship" under the stage name "Black Angel". This victory propelled her career forward and inspired her to pursue her artistic ambitions.

University and Vocational Training

Motivated by her passion for the arts, Varda decided to move to Kyiv and enrolled in the University of Culture and Arts, specializing in directing. During her time at the university, she found a vocal coach and dedicated herself to honing her singing skills.

Merging Artistic Talents: Singing, Pole-Dance, and Acting

Varda's artistic pursuits expanded to encompass a unique combination of singing, pole-dance, choreography, and acting. She began creating mesmerizing burlesque shows that thrilled audiences. With relentless dedication, Varda embarked on solo performances and toured extensively, captivating audiences with her talent and charisma.

Collaboration with Sergey Zverev

The King of Glamour, singer Sergey Zverev, took notice of Varda after witnessing her talents. Impressed by her performance, Zverev offered her a leading role in his solo music video, "Fashion Man." During the video shoot, Varda and Zverev formed a close bond. Recognizing her potential, Zverev proposed a collaboration on the song "Lyudi-Angely" (People-Angels). In February 2011, Varda and Zverev released a music video for the duet, which garnered attention in Russia and Ukraine. Their scandalous photo shoot for XXL magazine's cover became a contender for the magazine's Best Photoshoot of the Year.

Current Ventures

Currently, Varda is preparing for the release of her debut solo album, "Bez Grima" (Without Makeup), and developing her author's program, "Striptease for Housewives." She also strives to create a groundbreaking burlesque show that has never been seen before in Ukraine.
