Folklore and Academic Pursuits
In addition to his poetry, Holoborodko has written extensively on Ukrainian folklore, including "Myfopetychna transformatsiya ukrainskoho obriadu svatannya v ukrainskykh narodnykh kazkakh" (2002). He completed his higher education in 2001 at Luhansk State Pedagogical University.
Later Years
In 2014, Holoborodko was forced to flee Luhansk due to the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine. He lived with colleagues in Kyiv and performed with the folk ensemble "Lan." Holoborodko's works have been translated into multiple languages, including English, Polish, French, and German.
