Biography of Vasily Skromny

After the success of "The Adventures of Electronik," Vasily Skromny graduated from the theater school at the Odessa Film Studio. Alongside his studies, he also appeared in several other films. In the war drama "I - Khortitsa," he portrayed the young Chapaev soldier, Khristofor Emelyanov. In the drama "The Third Dimension," he played Nikolay, a sailor on a submarine. Additionally, Vasily Skromny had a memorable episodic role in the war film "Take Alive" directed by Vasily Lysenko, where his character, a wounded soldier, drew a cheerful baby face on his cast, amusing the soldiers.

Interruption of Acting Career

Vasily Skromny's further career in the film industry was interrupted by his military service. He served in the naval aviation. After his discharge, he could have continued his acting career, as experts noted that he had very good potential for it. However, Vasily chose to pursue a more serious profession. After his maritime education, Vasily Mikhailovich Skromny became a seafarer. Over the years, he had the opportunity to travel along the coasts of Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, Australia, and Africa. In his free time, Vasily Mikhailovich enjoys scuba diving.
