Vera's professional career commenced as a vocalist for established chanson artists such as Aleksandr Kalyanov, Valentina Tokareva, and Lyubov Uspenskaya. Concurrently, she worked diligently on her debut solo album, which materialized in 2002 under the title "Dyevchonka iz Dalnego Goroda" (Girl from a Distant Town).
