Early Career and Moldovan National Team

Serghei Alexeev is a Moldovan professional football coach and former striker. Born in Tiraspol, Moldova, Alexeev began his career in his home country. He played for several Moldovan clubs before signing for Russian club Shinnik Yaroslavl in July 2002.

Russian and Kazakhstani Clubs

During his time in Russia, Alexeev also played for FC Oryol and FC Volga Ulyanovsk. In between these stints, he spent two seasons in Kazakhstan with FC Alma-Ata. Throughout his career, Alexeev made several appearances for the Moldova national football team.

Return to Russia

After leaving Kazakhstan, Alexeev returned to Russia where he briefly played for FC Volga Ulyanovsk in the Russian First Division.

Coaching Career

Upon retiring as a player, Alexeev transitioned into coaching. He has since coached several youth teams in Moldova and is currently serving as the head coach of FC Sheriff Tiraspol's under-19 team.
