Education and Early Career
Born in Belarus, this brilliant scientist pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering at the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute, graduating in 1953. His academic journey continued with the successful defense of his doctoral dissertation in 1963.
Academic Leadership at BSUIR
In 1971, he assumed the role of Dean of the Energy Faculty at the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute. Following this, he was appointed as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the Minsk Radio Engineering Institute, which later became the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR). His exceptional leadership qualities propelled him to the esteemed position of Rector of BSUIR from 1973 to 2000.
Scientific Contributions
This scientist made significant contributions to the field of theoretical and applied electroengineering. His research focused on nonlinear electrical circuits and systems, leading to the development of an innovative method for non-hysteretic magnetization of ferromagnetic materials. He authored numerous scientific papers and played a pivotal role in the development of electrical engineering textbooks for universities.

For his outstanding contributions to academia, the scientist received the prestigious Order of the Fatherland III Degree in 1999. Additionally, he was bestowed with the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, the Medal "For Valiant Labor," the Medal "Veteran of Labor," and the Medal "90 Years of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus." His exceptional work earned him recognition with the Large Silver Medal of the All-Union Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy of the USSR and several Honorary Certificates from the Supreme Council of the Belarusian SSR, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, and the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
