By the age of six, he could play Beethoven's "Pathetique Sonata" by ear, despite not knowing how to read music. His talent caught the attention of professors at the Warsaw Conservatory, where he honed his skills.
Education and Mentorship
Kosenko later pursued his musical education at the prestigious Saint Petersburg Conservatory. As a student, he met and received guidance from renowned composers such as Alexander Glazunov, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Alexander Scriabin. Recognizing Kosenko's exceptional talent, Glazunov exempted him from tuition fees.

After graduating from the Saint Petersburg Conservatory, Kosenko embarked on a multifaceted musical career. He taught at various institutions, including the Music College in Zhitomir and the Kyiv Musical-Dramatic Institute. As a composer, he became renowned for his lyrical and romantic works, drawing inspiration from Slavic folk music.
