Early Career and Junior Achievements

Viktor Pasichnyk began his Nordic combined journey in his hometown of Kremenets. Inspired by a local coach, he joined a ski jumping and Nordic combined club. At the junior level, he competed in two World Junior Championships, achieving his best result of 22nd place in 2012.

Debut at the Adult World Championships

In 2013, Pasichnyk made his debut at the adult World Championships in Val di Fiemme, Italy. Despite facing strong competition, he placed 35th in the large hill and 10 km event, and 40th in the normal hill and 10 km competition. In the team sprint, Ukraine finished 14th.

World Cup Debut and Breakthrough

Pasichnyk debuted in the World Cup on February 9, 2013, at the Almaty stage. He scored his first World Cup points at the Lillehammer stage in late 2013, finishing 25th. His best result came in January 2014 at the Chaykovsky stage, where he finished 19th amidst some notable absences from top athletes.

Olympic Appearance

In 2014, Viktor Pasichnyk made his Winter Olympic debut in Sochi. In the normal hill competition, he placed 27th in the ski jumping portion and 42nd in the cross-country skiing event, ultimately finishing 42nd overall. In the large hill and 10 km race, he achieved a strong 20th place in the ski jumping round, but due to a less impressive cross-country skiing performance, he dropped to 30th overall.
