Early Childhood and Musical Influence
Victoria Karachun was born on September 21, 1994, in Minsk, Belarus. Her parents recognized her vocal talent, inherited from her father, and encouraged her development by enrolling her in singing lessons and craft classes.
Education and Distribution
After graduating high school, Karachun pursued a degree in Choral Conducting at the Minsk State College of Arts. Upon graduation, she was assigned to the village of Onoshki, where she taught vocal classes and led the ensemble "Lyanoks."
Career Divergence and Return to Music
Karachun briefly worked as a gas controller at N. RGS before enrolling in the Belarusian State University on a part-time basis. However, her passion for performing lingered.
Participation in "The Voice"
In 2018, Karachun auditioned for the seventh season of "The Voice" (Golos) and was invited to the casting. Despite passing the initial rounds, she did not have the opportunity to perform for the jury. She re-auditioned for the eighth season in 2019 and earned a spot on Valery Syutkin's team with her rendition of the Gypsy song "Mar, Dyandya."
Musical Style and Inspiration
Karachun's musical style is influenced by her Eastern European heritage. Her Gypsy influences originated during her college years when a teacher encouraged her to embrace her ethnic appearance.
Personal Life and Current Activities
Karachun is married but keeps her personal life private. She is an animal lover and an advocate for social issues in Belarus. She continues to sing and shares updates with her followers on Vkontakte.
