Early Life and Childhood
Viena Girardi was born in Orlando, Florida. The self-proclaimed "daddy's girl" is the only daughter of her father, who lovingly refers to her as his "little princess." She shares a close bond with her pet dog, Chloe, and enjoys playing make-believe with her furry companion.
The Bachelor Journey
Viena rose to fame as one of the 25 contestants vying for the heart of American pilot Jake Pavelka on ABC's "The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love." Known for her outspoken personality, she declared, "I'm a daddy's girl. I'm the only daughter, so... I'm his little princess."
However, Viena's time on "The Bachelor" was marked by both supporters and detractors. Some fellow contestants accused her of making negative comments about them, although Viena denied these claims. In Episode 2, she revealed to Jake that she had been engaged to a pastor's son while in high school but that the relationship had ended when he broke off their engagement. After learning a month later that he had married someone else, Viena hastily eloped with a man she barely knew. Four months after their marriage, she filed for divorce.
Despite Viena's past relationship issues, Jake overlooked them and invited her on a private date in a subsequent episode. They conquered their fear of heights by participating in bungee jumping. In Episode 5, Viena went on a "two-on-one" date with Jake and Gia Allemand in Napa Valley, California. She momentarily lost Jake's attention when he spent time alone with Gia. However, later that night, she surprised him in his room with wine. Jake, however, deemed this unfair to Allemand and the other women and asked her to leave.
Victory and Controversy
Despite her reputation as a mischievous and controversial contestant, the 23-year-old Viena emerged as a frontrunner. She became one of the two finalists on the show, ultimately prevailing over Tenley Molzahn. Girardi emerged as the winner of Season 14 of "The Bachelor" and became engaged to pilot Jake.
Education and Career
Viena holds a degree in interpersonal organizational communication. At the time of her "Bachelor" appearance, she was unemployed.
