European Debut with Valenciennes
In 2010, Aboubakar decided to embark on a European adventure by signing with Valenciennes FC. Although not the most renowned club, Valenciennes provided him with an opportunity to showcase his abilities on a broader stage.
International Breakthrough with Cameroon
Aboubakar made his international debut for Cameroon in 2010 against Georgia. His impressive performance earned him a place in Paul Le Guen's squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, where he made two appearances. At just 18 years old, Aboubakar was one of the youngest players at the tournament.
