Early Life and Club Career
Born on May 15, 1970, Ronald and Frank de Boer began their football journey at the tender age of seven. Joining the esteemed AFC Ajax in 1987, Ronald quickly established himself as a formidable force, winning the Dutch Eredivisie championship in his debut season. After a brief stint with FC Twente (1991-1993), he returned to Ajax in 1993, where he embarked on a six-season reign of dominance.
With Ajax, Ronald de Boer claimed four Eredivisie titles, two Super Cups, a KNVB Cup, the UEFA Champions League, the Intercontinental Cup, and the UEFA Super Cup. His remarkable contributions cemented his place in Ajax's illustrious history.
International Career
Ronald de Boer's international career spanned from 1993 to 2003, during which time he represented the Netherlands in 67 matches and scored 13 goals. He featured in three FIFA World Cups (1994, 1998) and two UEFA European Championships (1992, 2000), showcasing his versatility and adaptability on the pitch.
Later Career and Retirement
After departing Ajax in 1999, Ronald de Boer embarked on a global footballing adventure, joining FC Barcelona, Glasgow Rangers, and Al-Rayyan in Qatar. Personal Life
Ronald de Boer was previously married to Sharon Cohen, with whom he had three daughters: Maxime (born 1992), Demi (born 1995), and Brook (born 2000). In 2013, he welcomed his fourth daughter, Fenne, with his girlfriend Suzanne van Rozelaar. Two years later, they had their fifth daughter, Lind, completing Ronald's family of five beautiful girls.
