Early Life and Football Career

Vincent Peter Jones was born in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. He began his professional football career in 1986 with Wimbledon F.C. He went on to play for Leeds United, Sheffield United, and Chelsea, before returning to Wimbledon in 1994. In 1998, Jones briefly played for Queens Park Rangers and retired from the sport in 1999. During his football career, he made 384 appearances and scored 33 goals, primarily with Wimbledon.

Transition to Acting

By the time of his retirement, Jones had become a popular figure in British media. He wrote a weekly column for The Sun newspaper and made frequent appearances on radio and television.
