Biography of Vitaliy Aksenov

Born on June 2, 1971, in Brest, Vitaliy Aksenov is a singer who has found fame and recognition through his music. From a young age, he had a passion for music and was influenced by artists like "DDT" and "Kino," as well as art-rock stars.

After enrolling in a railway technical school, Vitaliy formed his own band and began his musical journey. Life tested him numerous times, and he faced many challenges before achieving recognition and success. In 1997, Vitaliy Aksenov released his first solo album titled "Chernoye Okno" (Black Window). Three years later, he released his second album, "Vozvrashcheniye" (Return). This marked the beginning of his active touring career, which included performances in Ukraine, the Baltic States, and Russia.

In 2001, Aksenov had the opportunity to meet the renowned bard and singer-songwriter, Alexander Novikov, who assisted him in recording new CDs. In 2002, his album "Kulebaksky Tranzit" was released. This album showcased a more professional and refined sound, as it was recorded at Novikov's studio in Kulebaki, a city near Nizhny Novgorod.

Interestingly, Vitaliy Aksenov is now more popular in Russia than in his homeland of Belarus. While he performs less frequently in Belarus, his songs are gaining recognition due to the changing circumstances. At his concerts, Aksenov's audience warmly embraces songs such as "Son" (Dream), "Pitersky Vals" (Petersburg Waltz), and "Taeyezhnaya Lyubov" (Taiga Love). These songs narrate personal stories from the author's life or his friends' lives. Some songs owe their existence to colorful individuals with whom Vitaliy has interacted.

Aksenov's compositions are filled with emotions, including some raw elements, but they never feel offensive. As Vitaliy himself says, when he performs in prisons, his main desire is for someone to reflect on their actions and not return to such places. Many of Aksenov's songs are close to poetry, and he sings about the importance of being a man and making the right decisions in life. His music is a true representation of masculine songs about life.

For a long time, fans have been requesting the availability of Aksenov's recordings, but due to various reasons, his albums have not always reached his audience. However, he has recently released a new album titled "Izbrannoye" (Favorites) and a disc with lyrical songs called "Lyubimye Zhenshchiny" (Beloved Women), which aim to fill this gap.
