Dr. Sergey Vasil'evich Isenberg, an associate professor, is a distinguished cultural worker of Kazakhstan and the scientific secretary of the Public Academy of Sciences of Russian Germans. With over 300 published articles, publications, and speeches, his research focuses on national relations and the revival of Russian Germans.
Author and Scholar
Isenberg's notable contributions include the compilation of the two-volume edition "History of Russian Germans in Documents" (1763-1992) and "Russian Germans in Russia's Military Service" (available in German and Russian). He has also authored books on renowned German figures in Kazakhstan: author and publicist G. Belger (2017), Honored Trainer of the USSR E. Ayrikh (2017), and academic E. Gossen (2017). As part of the "Famous Germans of Russia" project, he published a book on academician B. V. Raushenbakh.
Filmmaker
Isenberg is not only an academic but also a talented filmmaker. He wrote and directed two documentaries: "Here is Our Homeland" (1996) and "Edwin Grib" (2005), capturing the experiences and contributions of Russian Germans.
