Early Career

Mykhailo Braila began his football career with amateur teams such as Kryvbas-2, Stroitel, and Sportinvest, all based in his hometown of Kryvyi Rih. In 1995, he joined Dynamo Kiev-2.

Professional Debut and Club Career

In 1996, Braila moved to Vinnytsia's Niva. He made his Ukrainian Premier League debut on July 24, 1996, as a substitute against Dnipro. He later played for the amateur team Lokomotiv Dnipropetrovsk.

From 1997 to 2001, Braila represented Mariupol's Metalurh, with a brief stint at Shakhtar Makiivka in 1998. He subsequently played for Tavriya Simferopol, Dynamo Simferopol, Vorskla Poltava, Dynamo-IgroServis, Krymteplica, and Oleksandria.

Success in the Lower Leagues

Braila enjoyed success in the Ukrainian First League, winning the title with Zakarpattia Uzhhorod in 2008/09 and finishing runner-up in 2006/07. He also won the Second League title with Vorskla in 2003/04 and was a runner-up with Oleksandria in 2005/06.
