Music and Teaching Career

After graduating, Dembo taught at the Institute of Culture, a music college, and a music school. He also performed extensively as a soloist and accompanist. In the late 1980s, he gave numerous lectures in Kuibyshev on the topic of raising healthy and talented children.

In 1990, Dembo and his family emigrated to Israel and settled in Tel Aviv. Together with his wife, they established a private chess-music school. Over an eight-year period, they trained over 30 national champions between the ages of 10 and 20. Some of their students went on to win medals in world and European championships.
