Early Life and Education
Evgeny Zubtsov, a prominent Baltic Russian writer, culturologist, and documentary filmmaker, was born in Estonia. He graduated from Tartu State University in 1976 with a degree in law.
Literary Career and Cultural Roles
Zubtsov is the head of the Russian Writers' Organization of Estonia and a secretary on the Board of the Union of Russian Writers. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the International Community of Writers' Unions, the permanent Council of the World Russian People's Council, and the International Association of Filmmakers of Slavic and Orthodox Peoples (MOIKSPN). Additionally, Zubtsov is a co-founder and member of the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots in Estonia.
Publications and Media
Zubtsov has authored ten books and directed eight documentary films. He is also a contributor to various cultural, literary, and historical-biographical publications in Russia, including "Moscow," "Our Contemporary," and "The Literary Newspaper."
