From 1973 to 1978, Boris Tarnoposky pursued his studies at the Moscow Conservatory. He honed his skills in composition under the tutelage of Nikolai Sidelnikov, mastered orchestration with Edison Denisov, and immersed himself in theoretical disciplines with Yuri Kholopov.
