Vyacheslav Kulakov, the star of the film "Two Destinies," was born on July 9, 1968, in Kazakhstan. He is the youngest child in the family, with an older brother and sister. As a child, Slavik was spoiled by his parents, who fulfilled his every wish. He took advantage of this and grew up as a sensitive child, as he himself admitted. During his school years, Vyacheslav never joined theater clubs or participated in amateur performances. He couldn't even recite poems on stage because he was shy. Kulakov recalls being afraid to answer at the blackboard due to his shyness, even though he knew the lesson well. The situation was worsened by the fact that he did not pronounce all the letters correctly in his childhood. Slavik dreamed of being like his brother and wanted to join the naval academy to sail with him on the same ship. The younger Kulakov then decided to become an actor, started working on improving his speech with a speech therapist, and fought against his shyness. After finishing school, Vyacheslav went to Moscow to apply to a theater institute, and his older brother went to support him. They visited all the universities in the capital, but they didn't succeed in getting accepted on the first try. The following year, he didn't try to apply again because theater school didn't provide a military deferment. Vyacheslav Kulakov has played more than 60 roles in movies, although during his student years, he believed that his calling was the theater. During his studies, many of his classmates actively filmed and went on tours abroad, but Kulakov was never invited to auditions. After graduating from the theater institute, he brought his photos to the Mosfilm and Moskino studios and immediately met a director from India. Upon seeing the actor, the director offered him the lead role in the film "The Art of Dying." A significant turning point in his career was the project "Two Destinies," in which Kulakov played the negative character Oleg Khlebnikov. After the film was released, he woke up famous. Prior to the role of Khlebnikov, the actor often played positive characters. Vyacheslav Kulakov is a happily married man and the father of three children. He met his future wife on the subway when he was returning from Aikido training. At that time, Kulakov was not yet famous. He saw the girl and thought he would marry her. Vyacheslav hesitated whether he should approach Svetlana, his future wife, but he decided to take a chance. He struck up a conversation with her and invited her to a play. Svetlana initially mistook the tired athlete-actor for a drug addict because he didn't smell of alcohol and had a tired look in his eyes. Nevertheless, she came to the play. Since then, they have been together and are immensely happy about it.
Vyacheslav and Svetlana have a daughter named Alisa and sons named Arseny and Vladislav.
