Wendy Hoopes is an American actress, born in Malaysia on November 4, 1972. She is the fourth of five children in her family. Hoopes spent her childhood traveling abroad, particularly in America, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Tisch School at New York University.

Early Acting Career

Hoopes' first significant role came in the form of the character BB in Eric Bogosian's play "SubUrbia" on Lincoln Street. She gained the most recognition for voicing three characters in the animated series "Daria" on MTV - Helen Morgendorffer, Quinn Morgendorffer, and Jane Lane. Hoopes and actor Mark Thompson stood out for their talents in altering their voices, allowing them to work on voicing multiple animated characters simultaneously.

Television and Film Work

After "Daria" ended in 2002, Hoopes continued her acting career as a guest star on various television shows, including "Law & Order" and its spin-off "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "New York Undercover," "Sex and the City," "Judging Amy," "Third Watch," "LAX," "The Wrong Coast," "The Jury," and "Brotherhood." She also appeared in several films, including "Body Shots," "Better Living," "Calling Bobcat," "Is It Fall Yet?," "Roadblock," "Killing Cinderella," "Spinster," and the independent film "101 Ways (The Things a Girl Will Do to Keep Her Volvo)."
