Whitney Eva Port is a well-known television personality and model from America. She was born on March 4, 1985, in Los Angeles, California. She is the second child of Jeffrey and Vicky Lynn Port, who have a total of five children. Apart from Whitney, they have a son named Brian and daughters Paige, Jade, and Ashley.
Education and Early Career
Whitney attended Warner Avenue Elementary School, where she served as the school president. She then went on to Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences for her middle school education. During her time at school, she participated in a drama club, where she met Tommy Jones III, whom she dated for several years.
After graduating from Crossroads School, Whitney enrolled at the University of Southern California, where she completed her degree in Gender Studies in 2007. During her time at the university, she shared a room with Kristin Schuller, a former cast member of the reality show "Laguna Beach" and a friend of Lauren Conrad, who also appeared in several reality shows on MTV.
Professional Career
Whitney began her professional career as an intern at Women's Wear Daily and W Magazine for two years. She then secured a position at Teen Vogue magazine in the fashion department, competing with Emily Weiss, who had interned in New York City for three seasons. Whitney proved her talent in the third season and was hired as a staff member at Teen Vogue's Los Angeles office.
In 2007, Whitney left Teen Vogue and joined "People's Revolution," a PR firm that plays an active role in the fashion industry. This opportunity came through her connection with Lauren Conrad, who had participated in the reality show "The Hills." Whitney's work with Diane von Furstenberg (DVF) at "People's Revolution" was extensively documented in the reality show "The City."
Whitney also pursued a career in modeling and walked the runway for "DKNY Jeans" at Los Angeles Fashion Week. She also appeared on "Good Morning America" as part of Andre Leon Talley's segment for Vogue magazine. In March 2008, Whitney debuted her own clothing line for events and parties, called "Eve & A."
Television Career
