Early CareerAmerican actor Wyatt Russell was born on July 10, 1986, in Los Angeles, California. Growing up in the spotlight as the son of Hollywood stars Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, he shares siblings Oliver Hudson and Kate Hudson.
In 1996, the 10-year-old Russell made his acting debut alongside his father in John Carpenter's "Escape from L.A." as an orphaned boy. Two years later, he appeared in Paul Anderson's "Soldier," portraying a young Todd who was forcibly enlisted in the army shortly after birth.
From Hockey to Hollywood
Before returning to acting, Russell pursued a career in hockey as a goalie for the Langley Hornets (2003-2004), Coquitlam Express (2004-2005), and Chicago Steel (2005-2006) of the British Columbia Hockey League and United States Hockey League.
Return to Film
In 2006, Russell returned to acting with a role in the short film "The Last Supper." He subsequently appeared in various films, including "This Is 40" (2012), "Table 19" (2017), and "Overlord" (2018).
Breakthrough Performances
Russell gained wider recognition in 2021 with his portrayal of John Walker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe television series "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier." He followed this up with roles in "Wonder Woman 1984" (2020) and "The Electrical Life of Louis Wain" (2021).
