Yan Gordienko was born in Kramatorsk, Ukraine, in October 1998. From a young age, he displayed a natural flair for creativity and humor, entertaining adults with amusing facial expressions and quick-witted phrases.

With the encouragement of his parents, Yan ventured into other sports, including skiing, tennis, and hockey. At the age of 12, Yan's life became more joyful when his younger brother, Tikhon, was born.
Due to military events in their hometown, the Gordienko family relocated to Moscow for six months. During this time, Yan discovered a newfound passion: filming short comedy sketches.
The Birth of YanGo
Inspired by his new hobby, Yan created the pseudonym YanGo, connected with other bloggers, and released his first full-length video in 2014. Within a year, his channel had garnered hundreds of thousands of subscribers. YanGo's content primarily consisted of comedic skits. He also uploaded let's plays of popular video games like GTA, Counter Strike, Minecraft, and Geometry Dash.
Professional Blogging and Recognition
Yan approached his blogging career with seriousness and responsibility. His videos were well thought out and contained meaningful messages. Unlike many other YouTube channels, he avoided posting excessive and meaningless content. He also planned to introduce an educational segment to his channel in the future.
YanGo's channel stood out from the competition by not bombarding subscribers with excessive advertisements. The primary source of his income came from collaborations with companies that acted as intermediaries between bloggers and YouTube. Yan's dedication and hard work paid off. His channel received one of the most coveted awards for YouTube creators: the Silver Button. A year later, his dream of obtaining the Golden Button became a reality.
Collaboration and Expansion
YanGo relocated to Moscow with his family, where he found greater opportunities for his creative pursuits. He actively collaborated with renowned bloggers such as Pasha Mikus and Maryana Rozhkova. His joint videos with Ivanгай and Sasha Spielberg garnered millions of views.
Yan also expanded his reach beyond YouTube by appearing on television shows like "Govorit Ukraina" and "Big Russian Boss Show." In 2016, he made his film debut in Timur Bekmambetov's comedy "Yolki 5." His involvement in the film inspired Bekmambetov to create a movie exploring the lives of video bloggers, titled "Vzlomat' Blogerov."

Yan's followers adored his songs and fan fiction. His popular music videos included "Patymaker," "Tayet Zhir," "Laksheri," and "MS Yanulya – 3 000 000."
